Matrell Hawkins, Chef and Owner of Specialties Gourmet Personal Chef Service, was awarded FAPSC Graduate of the year 2005-2006.

Chef Hawkins graduated with 4.0 honors from The Capital Culinary Institute at Keiser College in May 2005. She attended the FAPSC Annual Conference in at the The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, FLorida to recieve the award.

"I was thrilled that I was chosen as graduate of the year. It makes me feel good that Keiser College thought enough of the work I have done to nominate me for the award. I am really proud of my accomplishments, and I appreciate Keiser College even more for supporting me. The award was unexpected but completely appeciated!" , said Chef Matrell
